In August 2015, Ensense Biomedical Technologies (Shanghai) Co., Ltd signed procurement and technical service agreement on “experimental animal (canine) implantable telemetry stimulation system” to assist the internationally famous medical device magnate-Medtronic in performing the project “establishment of canine model of chronic heart failure and relevant medical research”.

The project lasted six months. There were more than 30 experimental animals (canines). Through applying continuous electric pacing stimulation to different parts of canine right ventricle, parameters such as stimulation frequency, pulse width and voltage were gradually adjusted and an experimental chronic heart failure model was successfullyconstructed. Meanwhile, color sonography device was used to test changes in cardiac function and morphology before, during and after pacing. Finally, it was confirmed that chronic heart failure experiment standards are met.

Experimental results demonstrate “experimental animal (canine) implantable telemetric stimulation system” supplied by Ensense fully meets the design requirements of project program. Clinical technicians of Ensense provide timely and effective technological supports and services. Ensense obtains Medtronic’s subsequent orders of paid technical value-added service of product.
